SFASU Current Distinctive Identity SFASU is just the right size and is a beautiful place for students to grow into their futures. We offer the diversity of academic programs and extracurricular experiences found at large universities but still provide individualized attention to students. Students learn on a residential campus located in a historic college town. SFASU is expanding its service learning programs that integrate academics with activities in the community, building learning communities through linked courses and living units, and building faculty connections to students through SFA 101, mentoring programs, and capstone courses. Combined with face-to-face education, readily accessible technology allows for innovative student products like digital portfolios. SFASU offers students the total university experience by immersing the student in a total learning environment.
